INDIANAPOLIS, IN (August 21, 2026) – 3-time and reigning Northern Allstars Late Model Dirt Series Powered by Sunoco Race Fuels Champion, Josh Rice of Crittenden, Kentucky won his second career C.J. Rayburn Tribute at the Circle City Raceway on Friday leading all 50 laps for the $10,000 victory.
For the 2026 Sunoco Race Fuels North-South 100 winner it was his first NALMS win of the season. Ryan Unzicker the current MARS Series points leader came from his ninth starting position to finish second. Frank Heckenast Jr. despite a smoking car rounded out the Malvern Bank podium in third. Lucas Oil regular Carson Ferguson was fourth followed by Trevor Landrum who rounded out the top five drivers.
“That was fun. I had a really good car all night,” said the current O’Reilly Auto Parts Rookie of the Year points leader for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. “I won hot laps, won qualifying, won our heat race , swept the whole night. Mark’s (Richards) got us on a really good program right now. It’s good to get back home and race at familiar places.”
