HOPE, IN (February 22, 2025) – The Northern Allstars Modified Series will be having a points fund for the 2025 season. The champion will receive $5,000 and the Dewayne Ragland Trophy. We will pay the top 10 in points. The Arizona Sport Shirts “Rookie of the Year” will receive $1,500. The Todd Steel Buildings Hard Charger of the Year will receive $1,000.

We will be looking at adding some high-profile modified races to our schedule as we proceed along this season.

As far as the rules are concerned we will follow the UMP DirtCar car rules for the season. We will allow grooved tires at the following March events: Brownstown (March 1-weather date March 8th), Florence (March 15), and Brownstown (March 29). The reason I am doing this is to allow those race teams to use existing inventory. The tire rule for our series will be re-evaluated come April 1.

I have been around long enough to realize you are not going to please everyone. In bringing this series back after a 25-year hiatus we need as many participants as we can get.

Again, thanks to those who have reached out about the series. I am looking forward to seeing all of you in March!

The only tires approved for competition are the Hoosier: M-30S and M-60 compounds in the plated tire 26.5/8.0/15 or 27.5/8.0/15. The maximum width of the tire will be 9” inches.

The M-60 may be used as a right rear option tire only.

Grooving and siping of tires is permitted on M-30 and M-60.
