HOPE, IN February 25, 2025 – The 73rd season opener for the Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana scheduled for this weekend has been postponed to Saturday, March 8.

The schedule of events will remain the same with the season debut of the Northern Allstars Late Models and Modified Series along with the Pure Stocks and Hornet division also in competition on March 8.

It will be the 17th ever appearance by the Northern Allstars Late Model Dirt Series at Brownstown as the feature purse will be a $5,000 to win and $500 to start main event. In the previous 16 races there have been 12 different winners. In 2024 Dennis Erb Jr. of Carpentersville, Illinois and Devin Gilpin of Columbus, Indiana were the winners of Northern Allstars races at Brownstown.

The revitalized Northern Allstars Modified Series will also take to the track for a $1,500 to win and $200 to start main event. The event will mark the return of the series that last raced in the 2000 season. Bryan Clendenen of Oakwood, Illinois was crowned the series champion that year. It will also be the first Modified race at Brownstown in two years.
