HOPE, IN (June 3, 2025) – Ryan Thomas of Brownstown, Indiana defended his home turf on Saturday Night in winning the first modified race in 2 years at the Brownstown Speedway. It was Thomas’ second Northern Allstars Modified Dirt Series Powered by Sunoco Race Fuels win of the season as he became the first driver in five series events this year to go to victory lane twice. Thomas earned $2,000 for the win.

Thomas took the lead on lap 17 of the 20 lap main event after a spirited side-by-side battle with Ben Harmon, who had led the first 16 laps of the race. Harmon finished second with Matt Hamilton rounding out the Swift Springs Podium in third. Nick Allen was fourth and Adam Stricker was fifth.

Thomas, who won the Northern Allstars Series race at Paragon in April also collected $200 for winning one of the four heat races bringing his total winnings for the night to $2,200.

“Hats off to Brownstown Speedway and the Northern Allstars for putting this on. It’s good to be back home, we haven’t been here for a couple of years. I just love my Brownstown, yeah I knew I could get a better run up the race track, but I’d hit some of those holes a bit wrong and I kind of get the car bouncing. That was a good clean race, hats off to him (Harmon). It was a lot of fun.

The winner’s Diamond KT3 Chassis is powered by a Mullins Racing Engine and sponsored by Hoosier Truck Sales, Penske Racing Shocks, All Star Performance, and Willy’s Carb and Dyno Shop and Stakt Racing Products.

Completing the top ten were Bradley Jameson, Nick Snell, Garrett Jameson, Daniel Dehner, and Colin Green.
