BROWNSTOWN, IN (August 2, 2025) – Daulton Wilson of Fayetteville, North Carolina took the lead on lap 34 of the 50-lap 21st Annual Hall of Fame Classic on Saturday Night at the Brownstown Speedway as he then went on to win his first career race at Brownstown and first Northern Allstars Late Model Dirt Series Powered by Sunoco Race Fuels event worth $10,000 In leading the final 17 laps.

Wilson’s JRR Motorsports Teammate Justin Rattliff, who led 13 laps of the race finished in second followed by current NALMS points leader Josh Rice, who finished third after leading the most laps during the race with 20. Jason Jameson another member of the JRR Motorsports team was fourth with first-time Brownstown visitor Myles Moos taking fifth in the Brent McKinnon-owned car.

Rice led the opening lap as he was looking for his second straight NALMS win at Brownstown after going to victory lane on May 31. But, Rattliff forged ahead on the second lap taking the lead from the 2-time and defending series champion.

Rattliff, a former Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Rookie-of-Year extended his lead out over his fellow Bluegrass State driver, but Rice reeled in Rattliff taking the lead back by lap 15. Wilson, who started fourth then tracked down the top two runners as he would become the third different leader of the race grabbing the point on lap 34.

Wilson, then pulled away to win by 1.976 seconds to become the 12th different driver to win a series race since James Essex brought the series back to life in 2023.

“This is awesome,” said Wilson, a Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series regular. “We have been struggling this year, and I can’t thank my guys enough for never quitting on me and my awesome car owners James and Justin Rattliff, they give us everything we need to race and then some. We have flat out got our teeth kicked in this year. This is awesome to come home and race with them and to run first and second with Justin and then I guess Jason got in there too.”

“I got that bottom rolling after a while, but I felt like I had to get back up and luckily there were enough dry crumbs up there that you could race it up there. I just kind of went where they weren’t and had a really good race car, this car was phenomenal tonight and to race hard with Justin there and everybody that was an awesome race from my vantage point, I hope the fans enjoyed it. I have had really good cars here and never been really able to finish the deal. It feels really good to win.”

The winner’s James Rattliff-owned Longhorn Chassis is powered by a Clements Racing Engine and sponsored by Grant Lee Farms, MGL Auto Sales, The Auto Outlet, Innovative Community Solutions, Keltner Contacting, JRR Motor Sales, B&L Construction, Cheap Chevrolet, and New Point Lighting and Design.
