BROWNSTOWN, IN (August 2, 2025) – Ryan Thomas of Brownstown, Indiana led wire-to-wire in winning his third overall Northern Allstars Modified Dirt Series Powered by Sunoco Race Fuels on Saturday Night, August 2 at the Brownstown Speedway.  Thomas defended his home turf for his second straight Northern Allstars win to go along with a May 31 triumph at the Jackson County Fairgrounds track.  His other series win was back in April at Paragon.

Thomas earned $2,000 for the win and additional $200 for his heat race win and $200 for being the overall fast qualifier.  Derek Losh ran in second the entire 20-lap distance to take the runner-up spot.

Matt Hamilton made a late race charge to go from fifth to third at the finish.  Jordan Wever driving for Chris Kittle was fourth with Fairbury, Illinois visitor Jeff Curl rounding out the top five drivers,

“Like I said again, I love Brownstown,” said the winner who lives a mere five miles from the track.  “I cut my teeth here racing.  It will teach you discipline in a race car. When you start on the pole like that you are a sitting duck.  I think I would have been a little better up a lane, but you just have to slow down so much on the bottom like that, but there’s that little bit of moisture ring outside and until I see somebody I can’t move.  I think this makes 6 out of the last 8 times we have raced here we have won.”

The winner’s Diamond KT3 Chassis is powered by a Mullins Racing Engine and sponsored by Hoosier Truck Sales, Penske Racing Shocks, All-Star Performance, Willy’s Carb and Dyno Shop, Stakt Racing Products, and Schoenfeld Headers.

Completing the top ten drivers were Ben Harmon, Nick Snell, Daniel Dehner, Brayden Watson, and Tyler Loughmiller.
