LAWRENCEBURG, IN (June 13, 2026) – Adam Stricker of Batavia, Ohio picked up the biggest win of his racing career on Saturday night at the Lawrenceburg Speedway as the third-generation racer won the “Whiskey City Classic.”
Stricker drove the Team Christy #C7 to the $7,500 victory in the Northern Allstars Late Model Dirt Series Powered by Sunoco Race Fuels-sanctioned event.
It was Stricker’s first career NALMS victory as he became the sixth different winner in seven NALMS races in 2026.
Stricker took the lead on the lap 8 from current series points leader and hometown driver, Jason Jameson as he went on to score a 1.774 second advantage over Jameson at the finish. Jameson had led the first seven laps of the race finished in second in the JRR Motorsports Longhorn.
Trevor Landrum rounded out the Sunoco Race Fuels podium in third after recovering from a transmission linkage issue which prevented him from qualifying. Landrum, who finished fourth in his heat race from the tail, rallied from the 11th starting spot to finish third earning the Todd Steel Buildings Hard Charger of the Race.
Tyler Collins continued his strong run in the NALMS series as he picked up his second top four finish in the last three races coming home in fourth. Derek Groomer the current Arizona Sport Shirts top rookie was fifth.
Stricker’s previous biggest win in a Late Model was two years ago driving for Jim Beeman as he recorded a $5,000 victory at Florence (Ky.) Speedway.
“Anytime you can beat Jason here, it’s tough,” said the 27-year old Stricker. “I’ve got an awesome crew and awesome car owners and awesome family, and I couldn’t ask for anything else. You know, this Late Model deal is tough, and you beat yourself up time and time again wondering if you can even do it,” said Stricker, who started driving for the Vanceburg, Kentucky based team for Kenny and Jamie Christy in March at the Spring 50.
The winner’s Team Christy Racing Longhorn Chassis is powered by a Clements Racing Engine and sponsored by Impact Race Gear, Holdren Construction, FK Rod Ends, VG Performance, Slicker Graphics, Ross and Ross Fabrication, and Fannin Trucking.
Completing the top ten were Jared Bailey, Cody Mahoney, Jerry Bowersock, David Webb, and Jake Leitzman
