HOPE, IN (May 17, 2025) – Matt Hamilton of Aurora showed why he is the all-time winningest driver at Lawrenceburg Speedway across all divisions as he won his first career Northern Allstars Modified Dirt Series Powered by Sunoco Race Fuels race on Saturday Night, May 17.

He led from the drop of the green flag and despite having to fend off a tough challenge from the defending track champ, Nick Snell survived a late race caution to hold on for the $1,500 win.

The rest of the top 5 were Snell, Dalton Smith, Daniel Dehner and J.P. Roberts, Jr. Heat race winners were Ben Harmon, Matt Hamilton, and Pete Holt. Cory Skipton won the B main.

The Northern Allstars Modified Dirt Series Powered by Sunoco Race Fuels return to the track on Saturday July 5th for the Merrill Downey Memorial.

The winner’s Diamond Race Cars Chassis is powered by a House Racing Engine and sponsored by Vexco Engineering, Dearborn Building and Grounds, Priority Steel, Milan NAPA Auto Parts, Tr-City Diesel, and Got-a-Go Septic and Rentals.
